IF becomes an agency partner with e-Comm tech giant, Shopify.
IF Creative has been named one of Shopify’s agency partners set to help expand the e-commerce platform into nonprofit ecosystems. Faustina has been a long proponent of nonprofit involvement in unrelated business income for nonprofits, mainly revenue from sales rather than relying solely on donations. “We are always focused on maximizing the impact and reach of donated dollars. Donors expect this and rightfully so. But the bottom line is that nonprofits have administrative overhead expenses like every other business. This avenue will allow the nonprofit to earn income to help build capacity while directing donor resources to mission-critical programs.”
Faustina had success in developing a 15,000 sq. ft. thrift store in Santa Clarita, California for a nonprofit rescue mission. His leadership and this store became profitable after the third month of operation. The store generated nearly $1 M in sales annually and helped fund many of the homeless service outreach programs. Faustina and his team had three store locations and the organization earned nearly 50% of their budget resources through sales.
IF is poised to serve as strategic partners with nonprofits who want to open up shop. They offer consults on shop themes, development of the platform and on-boarding that includes staff training. For more information contact Eric Inman at [email protected].
One month ago we switched hosting providers and opted to go with Dreamhost. After two months of researching, testing and even deploying a cloud server, we settled on what we believe to be the best in the industry. Dreamhost VPS is scalable and affordable. If you are looking for web hosting, look no further. You will be amazed. Now, I recently signed up for their referral program so I may receive a commission if you use this link. My recommendation stands commission or not. We figured, why not try to offset our hosting expense by letting our friends know of our loyalty to Dreamhost. Happy hosting! -David
